    Learn about plants while enjoying a pint of locally brewed beer! Plants+Pints is an informal class collab with Crooked Pecker Brewing Company. Our plant experts talk different plant topics and Crooked Pecker will be on site to pour and answer any beer questions you may have. This all takes place in our spacious greenhouse where social distancing is possible!

    Classes will take place on Saturday afternoons (1/15, 1/29, 2/12, 2/26) from 1 to 2 pm. Scroll down for class description. Register for one or all four.


    $30/class includes the program, a plant, and a beer.

    NEW THIS YEAR: $40 includes all above plus a custom P+P glass (scroll down for photo!!!!)

    Classes will take place in our spacious greenhouse. Please know there is plenty of time to answer questions and feel free to browse our indoor greenhouse and gift shop. We are dog and kid friendly!


    1/15 “ Feed The Birds”

    Learn which seed blends attract which species of birds and what feeders and houses will work best.


    1/29 “Houseplants Made Easy”

    Even the brownest of thumbs will have a hard time killing these low care/maintenance houseplants. Learn which houseplants are the easiest to care for and transplanting techniques.


    2/12 “Houseplant Pest Management 101"

    Aphids, mites and mealy bugs oh my!!! Learn ways and solutions to protect you houseplants from these destructive insects


    2/26 “Is It Time To Start My Vegetable Seeds?”

    Some vegetables seeds are better to start and transplant and others do better with direct sowing. We’ll review when and how to start certain vegetable seeds.
