1/16: Houseplant Care
Love houseplants but cannot seem to make them thrive? Join us as we review proper lighting and watering techniques as well as how to correctly transplant and what soil to use. Could pests be the problem? We will go over different types and how to deal with each.
1/30: The Exciting World of Succulents
A plant that requires minimal care is a great introduction to indoor gardening. Learn how to propagate these low maintenance “succas” as well as how to incorporate them into planters and pots. These will make the perfect gift for a college dorm or a busy friend who might not remember to water all the time.
2/13: Orchids and Carnivorous Plants
Join us as we examine orchids and native carnivorous plants. Can’t get orchids to rebloom once you bring them home? We make orchid care and how to repot them easy! We will also review how and when to fertilize and what bark options to use.
2/27: Time to Start Your Seeds!
Are you ready to awake from your Cleveland winter hibernation? Believe it or not spring is around the corner and it is almost time to get seeds started. Learn which plants are the simplest to start from seed and easy techniques to be successful. Want to start or improve your garden this year? We will also go over vegetable seeds, specifically which types to start ahead of time and which to direct sow.
